Pattern Editor (A/B)
Use the Pattern A and Pattern B buttons to select which pattern you are editing. The "Clear" and "Default" buttons apply only to the selected pattern.
Rhythm Grid & States
Click on any square in the rhythm grid to cycle its state. The grid determines the subdivision and accent pattern. The colors are:
- Primary: Strongest accent/pitch. Used for downbeats or strong pulses.
- Secondary: Medium accent/pitch.
- Tertiary: Weakest accent/pitch.
- Off: Silent step.
A/B Cycle (A-Bars / B-Bars)
The pattern cycle feature plays Pattern A for the set number of "A-Bars" and then plays Pattern B for the set number of "B-Bars".
- If Pattern B is empty (all squares "Off"), its bars will be silent. This allows you to practice against silent bars.
- If Pattern B has notes, it will play as a second rhythm.
- Example: Set A-Bars: 1 and B-Bars: 2. If Pattern B is silent, it plays A (1 bar) then silence (2 bars). If Pattern B has notes, it plays A (1 bar) then B (2 bars).
Count-In
Click the Count-In button to toggle between 0, 1, or 2 bars of simple audible counting before the main A/B cycle begins.
